Latapult’s New Builder Layers

In our new Latapult layout we’ve added a Development group, and we can expand that group to see the new layer offerings with this release – please note that in a state or USA package all of these layers are available.

Under this new Builders subgroup, we have both the new Builder Development layer and a new Subdivisions layer.

When we’re zoomed out like this, this layer appears as point features. When zoomed to a very small scale, only the points for major builders appear. They are assigned specific colors. Once we zoom in a bit, builders with less developments will also appear and are symbolized with gray dots.

As we zoom in further, the dots change to polygon shapes to show where the development areas are. At this point where it’s easier to see them, labels for major builders will also appear.

We’ve even made this layer searchable so you can look for specific builders within an area, or for builder developments that are of a certain size. In this example, we’re searching an area for all of the builders with calculated acres greater than 10. If we remove that size requirement from the search and rerun, we’ll simply see all of the builders in this area.

The Subdivisions layer works in a very similar way: initially they are points (with gray points for the subdivisions with less expansive builders). As you zoom in, the subdivision boundaries will appear and will become labeled as well. This layer is also searchable by several attributes including builder name.

Latapult’s New Builder Layers

In our new Latapult layout we’ve added a Development group, so we’ll expand that group to see the new layer offerings with this release – please note I’m in a Georgia state package right now so all of these layers are available. Under this new Builders subgroup, we have both the new Builder Development layer and a new Subdivisions layer.  When we’re zoomed out like this, this layer appears as point features. When zoomed to a very small scale, only the points for major builders appear. They are assigned specific colors. At this point where it’s easier to see them, labels for major builders will also appear.  We’ve even made this layer searchable so you can look for specific builders within an area, or for builder developments that are of a certain size. In this example, I’m just searching an arbitrary area for all of the builders with calculated acres greater than 10. If I remove that size requirement from my search and rerun, I’ll just see all of the builders in this area. The Subdivisions layer works in a very similar way: initially they are points (with gray points for the subdivisions with less expansive builders).
