Pins allow you to attach information to a location: whether it be comments, photos, or files. Pins are also easy to use on our mobile app and allow you to drop a pin on your GPS location. Keep these pins as personal notes for yourself or share them with a Pin Group.

Pin Groups are the fastest way to share information with your organization. Add users to a group and all members will have the ability to view and edit pins as they are created. Members can upload files to pins for others to view and download on their own devices.

How Latapult Clients Use Pin Groups

Large engineering firms have multiple projects underway at any given time, and with frequent site visits, each with hundreds of photos taken, it can be difficult to manage every photo and to show its location of each on a map. Using the Import tool and Pin Groups, one field technician can import all their geotagged photos to a pin group and every member will be able to see the picture and its location. Other teams will import a full spreadsheet with latitude and longitude points to track project development and changes.
